The Guidelines for Registration of Colleges, published by the Ministry of Higher Education, Employment and Social Security, is utterly hilarious. The document states all the requirements for registration in Dhivehi and specifies in English the content layout (no details whatsoever) of proposals made by parties interested. No wonder foreign institutes are dissuaded.

heeheh...im sure they dont wont us getting education..they are not sincere...after all IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH which is anti-intellectualism; the misuse of the educational system to produce citizens without critical thinking skills....ya...that anon guy is true..that link is not working (im using fire fox)...ok..here is the link to that PDF.

moyameeha: strange that they should have varying regulations for different levels of education eh? even stranger is that they seem to be oblivious of education beyond higher diplomas. perhaps none of these government officials really have those credentials they so readily brandish...
